Kayla Mallen I am a self-taught artist from Essex, Ontario. I work in acrylic, creating objective abstracts of imagery that inspires me. I paint what I love: yoga, nature, meditation, music, and more. I enjoy painting in a style that involves lots of layers, and I allow the act of painting itself to inspire me and guide me towards what colours and imagery I use. My paintings emerge naturally from a place of wonder, curiosity, and absolute freedom - when I start a painting, I never know what the finished painting will look like.
